Product Description

Bacitracin zinc is a light brown or yellowish brown powder, which is a special polypeptide antibiotic. It has bactericidal effect on Gram-positive bacteria. Its mechanism is mainly to inhibit the bacterial wall synthesis of bacteria, and it can also combine with the cell membrane of sensitive bacteria, damaging the integrity of cell membrane and leading to the outflow of important substances in cells.

Zinc bacitracin can effectively inhibit gram-positive bacteria and some gram-negative bacteria; Bacterial resistance to bacitracin is slow, and there is no cross-resistance with other antibiotics. Promote the growth of livestock and poultry and improve the feed conversion rate. Bacitracin zinc is hardly absorbed by oral administration, and most of it is excreted with feces within 2 days. Zinc bacitracin has synergistic antibacterial effect with penicillin, streptomycin, neomycin, chlortetracycline and colistin.
