Coleus Forskohlii Root Extract ,Labiatae, perennial herb. It grows worldwide as an ornamental plant. The extract of Forskolin is known to lower blood pressure, inhibit allergic reactions, and stimulate thyroxine secretion. Other effects of Forskolin are also significant, including inhibition of inflammation, such as that caused by platelet-activating factor (PAF) 6, and inhibition of the spread of cancer cells.
Forskolin, which is contained in the flower extract, is the most potent adenylate cyclase activator known, and can directly agonize adenylate cyclase, increase the concentration of cyclic adenosine in various tissue cells, and thus participate in the regulation of a variety of cellular functions, as well as being an indispensable part of the body's process of forming important hormones.
