Articaine hydrochloride is a local anesthetic for oral cavity, especially suitable for surgical procedures involving osteotomy and mucosal incision. 30 minutes after injection of articaine hydrochloride into the buccal mucosa, the blood concentration reaches its peak; the elimination half-life of articaine hydrochloride is about 110 minutes; articaine hydrochloride is mainly metabolized by the liver; 5%-10% of the dose of the drug is in its original form Excreted in urine.

Function of Articaine hydrochloride
1.Articaine is used for pain control. Like other local anesthetic drugs, articaine causes a transient and completely reversible state of anesthesia (loss of sensation) during (dental) procedures
2.In dentistry, articaine is used both for infiltration and block injections, with the block technique yielding the greatest duration of anesthesia
