Undecylenylphenylalanine (MoreWhiteUP) is a white powder. It is a structural analogue of α-MSH, which competitively binds to the melanin-stimulating hormone receptor MC1-R on melanocytes, making melanocytes unable to produce tyrosinase, thereby inhibiting melanocyte activity and reducing melanin production. According to some clinical trials, undecylenyl phenylalanine (MoreWhiteUPChemicalbook) can indeed reduce the formation of pigmentation spots.
Undecylenylphenylalanine has a good skin-friendly property, which can control the binding of α-MSH(melanocyte stimulating hormone) and melanin-producing factors, and then block the process of melanin formation. α-MSH can be blocked at 0.001% concentration, and the optimal use concentration is 1%.
