Cefdinib is mainly applicable to respiratory system, urinary system, otorhinolaryngology, skin and soft tissue infections caused by sensitive bacteria.
Cefdinib belongs to the third generation cephalosporin, which can prevent the synthesis of bacterial cell wall. It has a good bactericidal effect on gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, especially on Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus aureus in gram-positive bacteria. Cefdinib is not only not degraded by the lactamase produced by bacteria, but also has superior antibacterial activity against the lactamase producing bacteria. It can be used clinically to treat respiratory, urinary, ear, nose and throat, skin and soft tissue infections caused by Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Pneumococcus, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella, Proteus mirabilis, Haemophilus influenzae, etc.
