Thiamine Nitrate, also known as thiamine nitrate and vitamin B1 nitrate, is a chemical substance, white to yellowish crystalline or crystalline powder. Used in rice, noodles, pastries, soy sauce, etc., but also used in medicine.
Properties White to yellowish crystalline or crystalline powder, odorless or slightly odorous, melting point 196~200ºC (decomposition), non-hygroscopic. Slightly soluble in water (its solubility is less than thiamine hydrochloride, 1g is about 35mL in water), insoluble in ethanol. It is stable in air, more stable in neutral solutions than in acidic solutions (pH=4.0), and more stable than thiamine hydrochloride.
