Molecular weight :131.17Leucine, also known as leucine and chemically known as α-monoamino-isocaproic acid, was first isolated from cheese by Proust in 1819. Later, Braconnot crystallized it from the acid hydrolysate of muscle and wool and named it leucine. L-leucine is one of the 18 common amino acids and one of the eight essential amino acids in the human body.
Use of leucine: nutritional supplement. Generally used for bread, flour products. Preparation of amino acid infusion and comprehensive amino acid preparation, hypoglycemic agent, plant growth promotion agent.Limit: 1. 6.4% of total protein in food.
