Niacalazine is a diphenyl urea and hydroxydimethylpyrimidine complex.Yellow or yellow-green powder;Odorless, slightly smelly.It is insoluble in dimethyl formamide in water, ethanol and ether.Used to prevent chicken and Turkey coccidiosis.
Functions:
Nicarbazine is a broad spectrum coccidiostat. Its inhibitory action occurs on second-generation schizonts(day 4 in the life cycle) ,so it does not easily develop resistance. It has been approved for prevention and control of coccidiosis in many countries.
1. Nicarbazin have a good effect on prevention and treatment of coccidiosis caused by Eimeria coccidium.
2. Nicanbazin mainly action on second-generation schizozoite and schizonts(Peak In 4 days after infection)
3. Nicarbazin does not affect the immune competence of poultry.
4. Resistance to Nicarbazin develops very slowly.
