Hop, Chinese medicine name.Hops are distributed in northern Xinjiang, Northeast, North China, Shandong, Zhejiang and other places. Function
1. Diuretic effect
The diuretic effect is due to the fact that the alpha and beta acids in hop extract promote the excretion of water and electrolytes by the kidneys.
2. Sedation
The sedative effect is due to the bitter compounds contained in hops, such as tartaric acid and isopentenyl abarketone, which have a central nervous system inhibitory effect.
3. Antifungal action
The antifungal effect is due to the fact that the polyphenols in hop extracts can interfere with the cell wall synthesis of fungi or affect their metabolic processes.
4. Antioxidant effect
