| Toppicamide is an anticholinergic drug that has mydriatic effect and ciliary muscle anesthesia. Its effect is quick and short. It is the first choice for mydriasis in ophthalmology. Tropicamide is an anticholinergic drug that can block the excitatory effect of iris sphincter and ciliary muscle caused by acetylcholine.
