The role of ceramide in stratum corneum

1. Barrier function

Studies have proved that the liposome of stratum corneum can regulate the skin barrier function; It was found that ceramide played a leading role in the regulation of barrier function in liposomes. Grubauer et al. found that the skin barrier function can be lost as long as the neurophthalmine is removed from the cuticle of epidermis.
