Neroli oil, an essential oil. Pale yellow or golden yellow liquid, with light blue fluorescence, turns orange-red when exposed to light, and has a strong orange blossom aroma. The main components are linalool, linalyl acetate, geraniol, nerol, α-terpineol, nerolidol, nonaldehyde, decanal, benzaldehyde, methyl anthranilate, indole and phenols. It is obtained by steam distillation of the flowers of Rutaceae plant lime or sweet orange. Used for perfuming perfume and toilet water essence and cosmetics.
