Apramycin sulfate is mainly used to treat swine escherichia coli disease and other diseases caused by sensitive bacteria. It can also treat diarrhea caused by enterobacter calves and salmonella. Also effective against e. coli, salmonella and some mycoplasma infections in chickens.
Apramycin sulfate is of low toxicity, which is better absorbed in digestive tract, evenly distributed in all tissues, and transferred to livestock and poultry products. In the feed additive, it is often combined with lindamycin to prevent and cure mycoplasma bb0 disease. It has special effects on dysentery in pigs.
