Polyglutamic acid (γ-PGA), also known as natto gum, polyglutamic acid, it is a water-soluble, biodegradable, non-toxic, using microbial fermentation method of biological polymers.
Gamma-pga polyglutamate is a sticky substance that was first discovered in "natto "- fermented beans. Gamma-pga polyglutamate is a special anionic natural polymer, homo-polyamide γ-PGA is formed by amidelinkage between α-amino group and γ-caboxyl group. The molecular weight of homo-polyamide γ-PGA ranges from 50,000 to 2 million daltons.
Its hydrating effect is 500 times that of hyaluronic acid. It is mainly used to moisturize, whiten, inhibit bacteria and improve skin health. Polyglutamic acid was first found in Japan natto food (fermented small soybeans) contained in the high viscosity of the drawing, in the domestic abbreviation for γ-PGA, is the use of natural natto bacteria and glutamic acid through liquid fermentation of biological polymerization, resulting in decomposable high molecular amino acid polymer.
