Moroxydine is an antiviral drug that was originally developed in the 1950s as an influenza treatment. It has potential applications against a number of RNA and DNA viruses. Structurally moroxydine is a heterocyclic biguanidine.
Application
This product inhibits viral DNA and RNA polymerase, thereby inhibiting virus reproduction. On human embryonic kidney cells, 1% concentration has obvious inhibitory effects on DNA viruses (adenovirus, herpes virus) and RNA virus (Echovirus), and has inhibitory effects on various stages of the virus proliferation cycle. No direct effect on free viral particles.Morpholin hydrochloride tablets, indications for influenza virus and herpes virus infection.
