Abendazole is a broad-spectrum anthelmintic drug that belongs to the benzimidazole class. It is primarily used in veterinary medicine to treat parasitic infections in various animals. The drug works by disrupting the energy metabolism of the parasites, ultimately leading to their death. Abendazole is available in different formulations, including oral tablets and suspensions.

3. As an anthelmintic, it is effective against animal gastrointestinal nematodes and liver flukes. It can be mixed with feed.
