Tetramethyluric acid(Theacrine), also known as 1,3,7,9-tetramethyluric acid, is a purine alkaloid found in Cupuaçu (Theobroma grandiflorum) and in a Chinese tea known as kucha (Camellia assamica var. Kucha). It shows anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects.

It has shown early promise in recent studies. It is less tolerated. This means you can continue to take small doses of Tetramethyluric acid to achieve the same effect over time.
The main problem with it is that very little research has been done. More research is needed to confirm the effect of Tetramethyluric acid.
