Application:
Lapatinib, used in the form of Lapatinib Ditosylate, is a potent EGFR and ErbB2 inhibitor with IC50 of 10.8 and 9.2 nM, respectively.It is used with:Capecitabine in women with HER2 positive (HER2+) breast cancer whose disease has not gotten better with other chemotherapy. in postmenopausal women with HER2+ and hormone receptor positive breast cancer who need hormone therapy.Lapatinib ditosylate is also being studied in the treatment of other types of cancer.
