Product Description

Licorice root extract powder is a medicinal ingredient extracted from licorice. Licorice extract usually contains: glycyrrhizin, glycyrrhizic acid, licorice, licorice flavonoids, the latter than sandalwood, prickly ash, quercetin and so on.

Licochalcone A is a chalconoid, a type of natural phenol. It can be isolated from the root of Glycyrrhiza glabra (liquorice) or Glycyrrhiza inflata. It shows antimalarial, anticancer, antibacterial and antiviral (specifically against influenza neuraminidase) properties in vitro.
Yellow needle-like crystals, insoluble in water, soluble in ether, chloroform, etc., inhibiting monoamine oxidase, inhibiting aldose reductase, eliminating free radicals, and anti-oxidation. Inhibit the formation of melanin, the whitening effect is better than arbutin, especially for acne (acne).
