What is Radish Red Pigment?
    Crimson amorphous powder, easy to absorb moisture, caking after moisture absorption, but generally does not affect the use, easy to oxidize. Sunlight irradiation can promote its degradation and fade, and it is soluble in water and ethanol aqueous solution, but insoluble in nonpolar solvents. The maximum absorption peak of the aqueous solution of this product moves backward with the increase of pH of the medium, and the absorbance decreases obviously. The hue of the solution presents in turn with the pH of the medium of pH2.0~8.0: orange red-pink-bright red-violet. Its aqueous solution is unstable to heat, and its degradation accelerates with the increase of temperature, thus fading. Cu2+ can accelerate its degradation and make it turn blue.

Functions of Radish Red Pigment:
