Zinc content: about 14%
Properties: white or nearly white coarse powder or crystalline powder, odorless, tasteless, easily soluble in water, slowly dissolved in room temperature water, 100ml can dissolve about 10g, more dissolved in hot water.
Method: It is prepared by the reaction of zinc oxide and gluconic acid.
Application
Use: nutrient fortifier (zinc fortifier). Can be used in dairy products, infant food, liquid and milk drinks, cereals and their products, salt, soft drinks.
Application note: Inorganic zinc supplements stimulate the gastric mucosa greatly, and it is difficult for the human body to absorb, most zinc ions are discharged from the body without absorption, and the zinc supplementation effect is poor.
